Bali National Golf Club offers visitors a truly luxurious golfing experience on the renovated golf club that has three distinct playing environments throughout the 18-hole course. The Hawaiian-styled golf course is only a short 20 minute drive through Bali Mandala toll road from Ngurah Rai Bali International Airport. Bali National is located in the Nusa Dua tourism complex. The course also sits alongside three miles of white sand beaches.

The Bali golf course was redesigned in 2013 by the superb Robin Nelson and Rodney Wright. Nelson incorporated Asian culture into the redesign, with hand-laid local stone walls built alongside the fairways and tee boxes. The wall arrangements almost give the perception of being in a typical rice field terrace that fill the majority of the countryside in Indonesia. Holes 1 to 9 feature creeks, canyons, and native vegetation filled with tropical birds, whilst holes 10 to 16 offer the golfer lush, gently sculptured fairways through a mature grove. Finally, Bali National Golf Club’s island green hole 17 and lakeside hole 18 are the finishing holes that challenge every golfer. Spectacular views of the Indian Ocean and the Nusa Dua area treat each player during their round.

The course was awarded ‘Best Renovated Golf Course in Asia 2014,’ ‘3rd Best Renovated Golf Course Worldwide 2015,’ ‘5th Best Golf Resort in Asia Pacific,’ and ‘Best Golf Resort in Indonesia 2017’ by Golf Digest USA.

Bali National was very enjoyable to play and a fair test for all abilities. Some greens had reseeding patches, but it didn’t affect putting. My caddie Adele was friendly and had an excellent knowledge of the course. All the staff i met were very helpful , which can only enhance one’s golf day. My only negative was the practice putting green was a lot slower than the course greens , which obviously has an impact on one’s game early in the round. Overall I’d definitely recommend any golfers visiting Bali to play at Bali National GC

Unfortunately two holes temporary but ok. Beautifully manicured course. Caddie was excellent. Overall, superb golfing venue.

Beautiful layout. Friendly nice pro shop. Driving range restricted but adequate. Excellent conditioned fairways. Greens were spotty and slow/inconsistent speed wise. It was the rainy season though. Caddy was nice, friendly and decent judging most distances, but just a guess and no rangefinder or Pin sheet. She was a Good green reader. Only big Complaint is that they advertise carts - and you get one - but it was cart path only even though the course was quite dry and not wet at all. All in all - an excellent experience.
