From the moment it was conceptualised, and 1. 8 million cubic metres of material were dredged, Yas Links was always going to be different, if only for its remarkable surroundings. The intention was never to impose a golf course onto the coast, but rather to enrich the existing shoreline with the development.

The game of golf has certainly benefited from the tireless efforts of our course designer and architects, but so has the immediate environment. Today the course and its environs are of high ecological significance with numerous new species, on land and sea, flourishing in these new settings. Yas Links is an investment in leisure, in people, in nature and in the environment.

The course as usual was in top condition. Facilities are well maintained. Lunch was delicious. But the marshall was inappropriately rude in how he handled our group. Doing his job and being courteous at the same time would appreciated. Such a highly regarded golf course should give importance to the way its employee treat its customers.

They should not sell 18 holes on 15:30 because it's impossible to finish when sun set is 18;00. That its no fair!!

The course was in magnificent condition, despite being closed the day before for horrendous rain. Probably the best course we've ever played. The club house, shop, outside and inside staff were extremely friendly and relaxed while still being very professional. All in all a great day, and we'll certainly go back.
