The golf was great. We were allowed to stay a little later but still unable to finish 18 holes. The main discrepancy is that the pricing for twilight rate was listed as $180 but we were charged $220. We loved catching up with Fernando whom we met a few years ago on a golf outing.

My teatime was changed from 1p, that I booked to 1:30 PM without notification on my approval. It could’ve screwed up a couple of things in terms of my reservations for the ferry and dinner, but thank God it didn’t. at the end of play, the gentleman accused us of losing a club. Meanwhile, it was there the whole time one of the team members there had just covered it with the club cover he was very accusatory. And that delay made us miss our first cab.

Tough off the tee. Narrow playing areas with dense jungle not far off fairways. Greens were barren. Subpar conditions overall. Layout was enjoyable.

The course design is very nice and quite challenging. However, the maintenance of the greens (surface/trueness, grass/fungus, cut of the holes) and the edges of the fairways is not up to the mark. Likewise, the carts a) did not have GPS, b) did not have ice/water in the box, and c) the ball/club washer was without water. The staff's friendliness was not as good as on the PGA Riviera in Tulum. Nevertheless, we had a very nice round of golf.

The greens and tee boxes were aerated, which we were not informed of. The club house was understaffed. The restrooms had lockers that were out of order as well as one of the urinals. No ice or water on the cart, not tees.
