A challenging, yet playable golf course, starts with a picturesque par three and features many tree-lined fairways as the round unfolds. Many of the holes require precise driving accuracy, considered strategy and shrewd course management.

The quick greens will present a stern test of putting skills while the beauty of the surrounding Surrey Hills is a constant feature of the course. With good drainage during the winter, the course remains in excellent condition all year.

The course is nicely designed and has some interesting holes. The greens were in good condition and well maintained. Some of the fairways were too full of dried mud which is the only negative really. Probably not a course to visit during a very wet spell, however an interesting course who are very welcoming with excellent facilities and friendly staff.

It’s the second time I’ve played the course with friends and both times I’ve loved the course but again only upon arriving was I notified of 3 holes being closed. The last time it was something else. They also didn’t have or couldn’t see my booking but luckily I had the golf scale email.

The course was unplayable. Balls even fully plugged in the greens. And the fairways were appalling. 8 holes were shut, but we understood 10 were playable. Unfortunately they weren’t!

The course had closed 9 of the holes as the other 9 were apparently unplayable. Myself and my playing partner could barely stand up/walk on the holes that were open and rather than playing the 18 (we had payed an extortionate £30 for) we walked off and left after only 5 holes. The course shouldn’t be open in this state and I feel that we were not informed of the dire state of it prior to trying to play there either and would like to think Golfscape will look into this.
