For a Saturday afternoon the price was unbeatable, I think anywhere within 30 mile radius of Edinburgh . Have played it b4 so know its a long walk . Even with additional cost for golf cart still exceptional value .

VERY VERY poor putting greens All eighteen greens were in puttable After speaking with the green keeper on the 16th he told us the Golfscape and the hotel shop should of told us Nobody did spoilt the round completely

The course is great, but badly let down by the very poor quality of the greens. This explains the very low green fees of £15 per round. This is very reasonable, and if you’re just having a fun bounce game, it’s good value.

Unfortunately Cardrona had a major ongoing problem with the greens watering system which resulted in the greens being damaged. Great course, good fairways and horrendous rough. Long walks between holes! Otherwise fantastic setting and helpful pro in the shop. Would like to go back when the greens have recovered.
