Angkor Golf Resort, a course designed by world renowned pro Nick Faldo, is a welcome addition to the wealth of activities visitors experience at Cambodia's Siem Reap. The 18 Holes course is an amazing 7279 yards, par 72 built to challenge all levels of golfers. The course's maintenance is superb with excellent green paspallum grass, before your round of golf warm yourself up at our 300 yards grass range and practice putting green. Our fairways are typically generous, but our bunkering style is impressive bold. The green have plenty of subtle undulation and they reward and encourage a variety of approach shots.

Excellent conditions for green and fairways. Course layout was a very fair test. (I’m a member at a Faldo designed course and there is a theme to his courses - good drives will set up good approaches to well defended greens, but there is always an option for bailout for chip and put to save par). Par threes are exceptionally strong and difficult. Service was very good from all staff, Locker room, check in, green keepers, drivers) and caddie was excellent and very good at reading greens - saved me at least 4 shots! Speed of play was good...but I was first out, so three hours to get round in a buggy is what I would expect. The hire clubs were ok. There could be more options on clubs and to mix up sets. The irons were fine but the driver persistently fade to right....which was helpful with a lot of water on the left....but I would have preferred to find another one that behaved like my own driver. Club houses prices a bit pricey for after round drink....but overall all it was a great experience and very enjoyable morning and if I’m ever back in Siem Reap I will play here again.

The experience itself was excellent. There were 12 caddies (all women) at the door to greet me when I arrived. Everyone was very nice. But it was very expensive. $125 for the round, plus $30 for the cart fee and caddie fee. The course was not in good shape. I had read going in that they had a drought in February and that the course was coming back but that was a couple of months ago. You should reduce the price if course not in good condition.
