The Swailend course was also designed by Dave Thomas and it opened for play in June 1997. Although more forgiving than the Hawkshill course, the subtle contours and well positioned bunkers present every standard of golfer with a challenge that should not be underestimated. The Swailend course measures 6,388 yards and also has a par of 72. SSS is 71, and the US slope rating is 117. Whether you are new to the course, or a regular player, take time to watch a fly-over of the Swailend layout from the medal tees. This will show the strategic bunkering, fairways and greens which make this such an interesting and enjoyable golf course.
