Pula Golf was founded in 1995 and completely redesigned by José María Olazábal between 2004 and 2006 to meet the demands of international and professional golf. It has been transformed into a long and demanding field where of the 18 holes, in 14 holes the green is seen from the tee and in the remaining 4 from the 2nd blow.

Pula Golf has a large two-level Driving-Range, one of them covered, 2 Putting-Greens and a Pitching Green. Pula Golf has an extensive calendar of amateur tournaments. Among its services, Pula Golf has a Golf Academy directed by Golf Natural Guidance. The course is characterised by mostly flat fairways and therefore particularly suited for just-for-for-fun-golfers. A water ditch and a lake alone demand a tactical game.

The course is in very good condition. The new clubhouse is also very good. The start times were very flexible.

By booking via the Internet I paid a different rate for two persons ranging from EUR 130 - EUR 158 for each round plus a 1.75% fee because Golfscape is charged outside the eurozone, in London. In future I will book directly at the course for better control of what I pay and avoid being ripped off by Golfscape and also the fees.

Fundamentally better than average with excellent fairways considering the summer we have had. 17 is a tough hole at the end of a round, and would be better if it was shorter. Move the first tee to the right to avoid hitting the trees.

I was given a tee time at 3 p.m. for 18 holes, but there were only 4 flights for 9 holes ahead of me, so it was impossible to do that before sunset at 7 p.m. ...
