I was told I would be paired with a group, but when I arrived, I went out alone with a forecaddie, behind a group of 2. They could have paired us, and made the day more enjoyable. Instead, they had me tee off from 10 behind a 4some who would not let me play through, making the day an interminable slog. Incredibly beautiful course, but a day ruined by poor accommodation management. I will not be back.

The course itself is a great layout in excellent condition. Only a few little details hold the course back from being truly elite, on par with the best golf destinations in the world. I was rushed to tee off earlier than scheduled and my caddie was as much a detractor as a value add, because he was insistent on choosing clubs rather than giving yardages. And for the price, other perks like tees and ball markers, cold towels at the turn, and complementary refreshments would have been nice.

Best Course i have ever played!! Live in Southeast Asia (Thailand), have golfed in +5 countries and courses to include Pinehurst #2, Pebble, Kiawah, Manele, Blue Canyon, etc. Great 8 ocean holes, non ocean holes were fabulous, course condition tee to green was immaculate, ease from check in to 19th hole. worth the green fees

Providing a caddy was a waste of time for us. Although he was nice. He spent all his time and effort with the single that was paired with us. Mostly because that way he could sit in a cart and ride with home. We still left a tip as that’s what you are made to feel like you have to do. As is the feeling throughout Punta Cana. Awesome course no doubt. Would I go back? No. Too much $! You will not care what I have to say anyway, so I feel I’m wasting my time typing this. If it was even a couple of hundred less (Canadian dollars) I would have left thinking I can’t wait to go back. Unfortunately, at that price it’s just not worth it. Transportation to a from the course waste flawless. Other than Punta Cana roads and driver are scary. lol
