Located just off US 278, 3 miles west of the bridge to Hilton Head, Crescent Pointe is a world-class Arnold Palmer “Signature Course” situated on a spectacular piece of property that highlights the beauty of Hilton Head golf. Crescent Pointe is Arnie’s only public-access course in the Hilton Head area, and it’s pure Palmer — with generous fairways, but challenging approaches to its many elevated, undulating greens. Four unique par 3s await, and the three par 5s read more on our hole-by-hole pageare all birdie holes, but all feature over-the-water carries to do it. Magnificent, century-old oaks, manicured conditioning and dramatic shot-making opportunities make this course a “must play.”

There was no grass in fairways and rough!! Way overpriced for playing off dirt.

Brush and foliage in the side areas was out of control. I've played most of the courses on Hilton Head and this one was the worst.

Fun design with variations among holes that wasn't "cookie cutter" by any means. For the price point, I thought the conditions of the course -- fairways and greens -- left something to be desired. Would definitely play again but not at same price point. Also round was very slow as there was a mixture of 4somes, 3somes, and 2somes, all interspersed which was frustrating for an early morning tee time. Pleasant and welcoming staff.

People were all great. 10s all around. Clubhouse and practice area as well. The course layout lived up to the slope expectations but the tee boxes cart paths and fairways need some TLC. Overall a 9

Golf cart was dirty. Beer cans were in our cart. Bunkers in very rough condition. Some muddy, no sand, not raked. Greens were in pretty good condition.

As one of my favorite area courses, due to the ownership change issues, COVID & bad reviews, I haven’t played Crescent in 5+ years,but this year reviews revealed improvements occurring. The course layout is fantastic, and our overall experience was good. Staff (cart guy, PRO Shop & Starter were super nice & friendly. Tee boxes were ok but need work & growth, fairways were ok but need growth, greens were excellent except I believe 15 or 16 which was in poor shape. The Sand traps I were in (many) were all in excellent shape/condition. Hope course improvements continue and looking forward to check it out again next year. Again, staff was amazingly friendly and courteous.
