Palm Resort Golf & Country Club (Allamanda Course)

Mostly Clear
-°C Today, Forecast: -
Designed as a “Resort Course”, it is a favourite course for play featuring breathtaking scenery of water features, daunting sand bunkers, and carefully-manicured Tifdwarf greens hidden amongst verdant landscaping. The fairways and roughs are severely undulating in places, and well-guarded which can pose challenges towards securing a victory. It embodies 11 holes of water and two signature holes represented by No. 2 and No. 15.

Total yardage from the championship tees measures at 6,866 yards. The blue, white and red tees are easier to play at 6,467 yards, 6,041 yards and 5,511 yards respectively.

Very nice day playing the Allamanda Course at Palm Resort.  Easy to find coming with the car from Singapore, nice reception and effective check-in for playing. Totally fair price for 2 x 18 holes. Buggy ok, and no problem when we informed the starting house that we did not need a caddy.   Be aware that there is no place to buy drinks between 1st and 9th or between 10th and 18th (at least when we played). Hence remember to bring enough water and the drinks with you out from the start and before the 10th hole.  They provide iced drink containers for the buggy, even two if you need it, really good service. Really nice and fair course, with some really beautiful holes - quite long from white tee, but absolutely playable. Fairways in good condition, but a little wet here and there after a lot of rain, but nothing that can be complained about.  Greens were sanded three weeks earlier, and a little hard to judge, but again in good condition. The toilets through the course were quite dirty, and not really useable.   Food in club house is "so so la la", but the prizes are absolutely fair. Conclusion. A really nice day of golf and we will definitely be back again soon.

Golf course couldn't fault it for value for money, but the food available at the resort was particularly disappointing at both the clubhouse and the hotel.

Overall, the course was well maintained reasonably. As a player for the first time here to play without caddiie appropriate direction and guidance required.

The putting green speed is inconsistence between hole to hole, the restaurant waiters service is poor, lack of training and poor service.
