No upfront warning about the difficulty of accessing the property led to an 30 min delay so my wife could send an image of my passport. Golf course played slow and apart from the holes along the water wasn’t worth the expense of paying much less the added cost of having to pay a caddy over and above the greens fee. I can now say I’ve played it and will never play again. Punta Espada and Punta Corales are cheaper, faster and superior plays in my opinion

Amazing design, wonderful holes around the ocean, fair condition of the course, however, I must also mention the very slow game, which spoils the overall impression of the course. If you're paying over $600 in fees and +paying caddies, then it's unbelievable that you're waiting for your every shot and playing well over 5 hours...

Beautiful course but not worth $500+ for a round. I could understand $250 a round but add in the caddy and clubs it was $700+.

I enjoyed my round at Teeth of the Dog. The course/club however are a bit dated and in need of a major renovation when compared to some of the other top courses in the DR. It feels as if they are milking their reputation. When paying the kind of green fees they command, I expect top tier facilities such as a modern well kept clubhouse.
